Rails to Trails Explorer’s Club

The Adventurer’s Club is a kids club that offers arts and craft classes to the community. Children who participate in the club can expect to learn new creative skills, make friends with other kids who share their interests, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. The club’s focus on exploration and adventure encourages children to be curious and open to new experiences, which can help them develop confidence and a love of learning. Overall, the Adventurer’s Club provides an excellent opportunity for kids to engage with their community and discover their artistic talents.

Join us every second Sunday of the month for a leisurely bike ride! Meet us at The Waymark to grab a bite to eat before we explore amazing terrains suitable for all skill levels. 

Ride Details

• Breakfast Bites at 9:30 am
• Ride starts at 10:00 am
• Distance: 12.3 miles
• Type: Non-drop leisure ride
• Services: Spare tubes, tools, and basic roadside service will be provided
• Essentials: Bring water
• Preparation: Make sure your bike is in working order before the ride. Tune–ups prior to the ride may delay the start time.
• Weather: If there is a 50% or greater chance of rain, the ride will be canceled. If the chance of rain is less than 50%, the ride will proceed.

Our community event offers an opportunity to explore the great outdoors and witness the natural beauty of the area as the sun sets and the stars come out.

The hike will culminate at a scenic overlook where you can watch the sunset over the horizon and soak in the breathtaking views. Afterwards, we’ll provide a light snack and refreshments as you mingle with fellow hikers and reflect on the experience.

Every last Saturday of the month, join us for an exciting event featuring live music and food trucks provided by Taste of the World Market. It’s a vibrant occasion where you can enjoy captivating performances by local artists while indulging in a wide variety of delicious cuisines from around the world.

Join us for an intimate night of creative and culinary discovery on the evening of April 21st with the Rails to Trails Explorers Club. Includes a tour of Walnut Creek’s public art, stops at local restaurants for tastings, drinks, and local arts pop-ups. The evening continues with a private viewing of the Forced to Flee exhibit, nibbles, and drinks at the Lesher Center’s Bedford Gallery. Three lucky guests will be selected to win works by local artists represented by the Valley Art Gallery ($600 value each). This event is 21+ and limited to 76 guests.
